About ClariVein Mechanochemical Ablation
A rotating catheter is placed inside the vein under ultrasound guidance. As it rotates, it gently disrupts the vein lining while delivering a sclerosing agent. The procedure is performed in-office and is often well tolerated.
ClariVein is a mechanochemical ablation device that combines mechanical disruption with a sclerosing medication — no heat, and typically no tumescent anesthesia required.
